Remember, get two free Wilder Natives posters with any 3.5″ Wilder Natives order. No Minimum! Posters are printed on 18×12″ heavy-duty waterproof card stock, and feature a QR code that links to our new Wilder Natives page on the website!
Welp, looks like Aquilegia canadensis is going to Disney World! Congrats to our first ever Wilder Native ‘March Madness’ Champion. Eastern red columbine ousted #3 seed, and PPA Perennial Plant of the Year, Pycnanthemum muticum, in a hard-fought battle of pollinators. Spring blooms eternal!

Speaking of Champions, we’ve got lots (for now!) of Hellebore Champion ready to roll in full spring color. These carted plants were loaded with early-season bees and wasps coming in for a nectar-licious visit!
Bellis trade gallons in fresh, stocky spring form. Along with a nice Nepeta Alba tuffet in gallon size.
Beautiful textural accents with these Sempervivums in quarts…
Juicy quart Sedums, here’s Coral Carpet, Aurea, ternatum Larinem Park, and Fireglow.
Alliums are waking up nicely, here’s Purple Sensation in 2 gallon pots. 3-4 stems per pot, featuring rich purple 3″ globes in May/June!
Did we mention we’re growing natives in 3.5″ pots this year. 😉 Here’s Monarda fistulosa, Penstemon calycosus (wonderful shades of purple, and takes more shade than other Penstemons!), Monarda punctata, and Pycnanthemum muticum.
Speaking of natives, check out these nice full Packera aurea gallons from our friends at Kind Earth Growers. These solidly vernalized plants will bloom with reckless abandon later this spring. Get ’em in now!!!
Iberis Snowflake gallons, these candytuft overwintered right outside, so no ‘hardening-off necessary, AND, they’ll bloom for a super long time in cooler early spring conditions!
Last of the Aubrieta Audrey Blue quarts will be on the move next week. Love that color!
Wilder Herbs & Veggies:
Really coming into our own these days with a nearly-full compliment of herbs and cool veg. This week we’re adding Cilantro, Rosemary BBQ, and some great groundcovers too! We have lots of ‘young’ Parsley as well, so ask for some if that’s ok. All of these selections are grown warm, so will be happiest is a sunny, cool protected space until things warm up a tad more.
Lots of ‘Tah Dah!’ moment in  the herb houses taking these pictures yesterday. Here’s Ajuga Black Scallop, Thyme Golden Lemon, and Oregano Hot & Spicy.
Super Lettuce red Sails, Buttercrunch, and Kale Nero di Toscana…
Kale Storm mixed Kale, Lettuce Romaine and All Star Mix.
Rank and File Oregano Greek, and the beautiful Golden Oregano too!
Wilder Natives parting shot, with Rudbeckia hirta, Symphyotrichum (aster) Nova Angliae, and Heuchera Autumn Bride.
Spring Landscape List!:
Outdoor-grown perennials and natives coming alive these days with the blankets all off. These chunkers won’t last, so order up and get a jump on those spring landscape jobs!

Solid block of Centaurea, Armeria, Ajuga, Elijah Blue Fescue, and more….
Still need your used trays. Please save our empty herb & veggie 3.5″ 18-cell trays, and we’ll pick up at your next delivery!
